I do not currently accept any insurance or managed care. However, if someone has health insurance that will reimburse for psychotherapy, then I can provide, upon request, a regular written statement to be submitted to the insurance company.

Minimum twenty-four hours (24) advance notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments. If you inform me less than twenty-four hours in advance of planned absences, you will be charged the full fee for those sessions.

While therapy is generally conducted face-to-face, I currently only have limited availability to take new psychotherapy clients, and only via phone or Skype.

All sessions are by appointment only and are fifty minutes long. I am available to schedule a pre-treatment consultation and am happy to answer any questions you may have.

My fee ranges between $100- and $140- per session, however rates may differ based on services requested. Recognizing that not all individuals seeking help might be able to pay at my regular rate, I normally keep a small number of hours available at a reduced rate. I do not have a sliding fee scale in any formal sense, but based on the situation in my practice and the needs of the individual, we can discuss a lower fee if necessary. Unless otherwise arranged, fees are due at the time of the session.

Privacy is a basic right of anyone seeking psychotherapy. As such, information pertaining to your therapy is confidential and legally privileged. Certain exceptions may apply, as defined by California’s statutory requirements for reporting specific threats of harm to self or others, possible child or elder abuse, and circumstances where the client seeks psychotherapy in order to commit or enable another person to commit a crime or evade justice.
